Kaiser NUHW Healthcare Workers Strike Against Short Staffing Threatening Health
Hundreds of Kaiser NUHW members launched a statewide strike against short staffing and systemic problems particularly for members with mental health issues. Kaiser which is increasing by hundreds of thousands of new members is refusing to provide proper staffing leading to suicides and other health and safety problems. This picket and rally took place on January 12, 2015 at the San Francisco Kaiser. Some patients have committed suicide after the failure of Kaiser to take care of their health needs
