The California Public Utility Commission president MIchael Peevey who has a long history of corruption and conflicts of interests with the utilities and telecom tried to shutdown people who have been harmed with "smart meters".
CPUC President Peevey Tries To Shutdown Speakers Against "Smart Meters At His Last CPUC Meeting
At the December 18, 2014 meeting of the California Public Utility Commission, the president of the
CPUC Michael Peevey tried to shutdown the speakers who were giving testimony about the affects
of "Smart Meters" and the health and safety dangers to workers and the public. This was his
last day of president of the Commission and has been forced out by charges of conflicts of
interest and corruption.
Testimony was given about the serious health and safety issues faced by the public as a result of
the installation of "smart meters".

California Senator Jerry Hill spoke at the California Public Utility Commission meeting on December 18, 2014 which was the last meeting by retiring president Michael Peevey.
Hill called for criminal prosecution of Peevey by California attorney general Kamala Harris and the overhaul of the central regulatory agency for the protection of the public and consumers in California. He discusses the systemic corruption and conflicts of interest by Peevey with the utilities he is supposed to regulate. He also discusses the control of the private utilities of the regulators in California and how this is a threat to the people of California.
