CAIRO: Revolving Door in Tahrir Square?

In 2011, Russia's PUSSY RIOT praised Egyptian rebels.
What remains in 2014?
..................
Around three years ago, the Arab Spring movements
were inspiring freedomseekers globally.

In Putinistan, on 07 November 2011,
art-polit-provos PUSSY RIOT proclaimed:

"...Free the cobblestones! Free the cobblestones!
Egyptian air is good for the lungs!
Turn Red Square into Tahrir,
Spend a full day among strong women...." [*]

......................

In the USA, as in the "former" USSR,
many admired Egyptian women,
mostly young and somewhat "secular",
who dared to speak truth to power.
One could hope to see men and women moving toward equal rights,
a daring new idea in Egypt.

Now look at Tahrir Square in 2014! [ ** ]

Has the "revolution"
been like a revolving door?

Sadly,
