Our May plant sale is a special event! As usual, there will be plenty of non-thirsty summer-blooming natives for your garden-like golden aster, buckwheat, seaside daisy and lizard tail-all so important to bees and butterflies.
In addition, local artists and activist Beth Grossman will be showing her traveling art exhibit "The Law of Seeds" that invites people to appreciate the wonders of seeds and the importance of protecting this precious component of our food chain.
Native Seed Seminar at 11am: Joe Cannon, Stewardship Director, and Lawrence Fernandez, Nursery Manager, will guide visitors through the nursery and give a seminar on the biology of native seeds, seed germination, seed collection and use as part of native plant propagation and habitat restoration.
The Mission Blue Nursery is located off of Bayshore Blvd in Brisbane behind the Brisbane Fire Department. Follow the signs on Bayshore Blvd. For more information call the San Bruno Mountain Watch office at 415-467-6631
Payment by check, cash, and now credit card! Please bring your own carry-out boxes!
