A powerpoint presentation and slide show by Marc Sapir. Marc and Sheila Thorne recently toured Iran with Global Exchange. The tour guide was an Iranian who fought in the Iraq-Iran war of the 1980s. Impressions of Iran will be presented with a large body of representative slides in an effort to allow the audience to experience much of what we saw. The presentation is more cultural and historical than political or academic.
Marc is a community physician, a founder of the Berkeley High School Health Center, and was the first Medical Director of the Center for Elders’ Independence in Oakland.
