Antifa Confronts Death In June Concert in San Francisco

Communique re: Friday's Antifa action due to the inaccuracy of the previous post. Small groups of anti-fascists confronted the crowd, venue security and SFPD, with minor altercations breaking out.
Because the previously posted communique was inaccurate, multiple comrades at the action have decided to write their own, as follows:

A small group all dressed in black marched toward the Mezzanine, chanting anti-fascist slogans, as perhaps a hundred people waited in line for Death in June. Some small scuffles broke out between anti-fascists and fascists (and one zionist) in line, with nazi tattoos and clothes. Security came out to escort the anti-fascists away from the venue, and a confrontation broke out, and barricades and other things lying around the street were tossed at the building and in the street. Security tried grabbing some of them, but all made it away safely. One security guard, who appeared to be with the band, pulled out a taser and threatened the group.

After, some anti-fascists circled the area and approached people attending the show, to discourage them from supporting the fascist band. Around two hours later, another small group marched towards the venue, this time from the back alley to the smoking section. By now, the police had showed up to defend the venue, and formed a line between the venue and the anti-fascists. Security forced people back inside the building and closed off access to the smoking section (at least temporarily.) The march retreated before the police kettled them, as the area was flooded with cops.

While our offensive was mild and failed to completely shut down the show, we believe we were successful for the such a hastily organized action, and a good first action that we hope to follow up. Shout out to those who went inside and demolished the venue's bathrooms- per the Antifascist Toilet Smashers communique.

interesting, toilets are a major part of ther infrastructure people take for granted. no toilets in society mean illness danger and no more business as usual or whole foods markets. not so bad.

As someone who was there... this isn't even close to the truth and calling a cultural non-practicing jew a zionist after assaulting him is far worse that anything Dougles P or Death In June has ever said or done...

Worthless rabble.

Liking Death In June instantly makes you a fascist? Are you people so weak mentally that the second you listen to a band, you become instantly indoctrinated with whatever they may be singing about/ believe?

Two of my favorite bands are DIJ and Crass. And I am Black. What category can you toss me in for your pathetic little write up? You guys are a fucking joke, and were probably the only thing even remotely resembling fascists (besides the cops) at that show.

Why don't you guys show up and protest ACTUAL unapologetic, full on white power nazi bands? Why pick on a bunch of puny DIJ goths and not a bunch of full on white power skinheads who are ACTUALLY completely full of hate and racism? As in, people who actually cause violence and spread the full-on/ unadulterated word of neo-nazi agenda?

Oh right, because you are a pathetic bunch of spoiled crust punks (this week, anyway) who go the route of least actual resistance so that you can post little updates and pictures on your tumblr. You probably have "anti-censorship" patches on your picture-perfect crust punk pants, whilst trying to censor a totally inoffensive goth band, and you probably wear "animal liberation front" patches, while you drag around a half starving dog that your parents bought you as a crust fashion accessory.

You and your type are actually the most hate-able, contradictory, everything-thats-wrong-with-everything scum that I can think of.

"And one Zionist!". My fucking god.

That's why there very white power bands in the Bay Area. People have chased them away (or made them go into hiding). If anyone announces where a white power show is, you'll see what happened at Death In June, and more!
