Answering Woody Guthrie's Question - “Who are these friends all scattered like dry leaves?” A memorial honoring the victims of the January 28, 1948 Los Gatos Canyon Plane Crash took place in Fresno today. Guthrie’s song inspired organizers to find out the names of those killed in the plane crash that took place 65 years ago. Family members of the victims, friends and allies attended the unveiling of a memorial listing the names of those killed.
