A rather tame demo to say the least. The folks marching in Oakland on 1 April have rightly called for "Full Citizenship Rights for All Immigrant" which is the only way forward for the immigrants and the entire American working class. All the so-called reform, proposed by the capitalist government that enslaves us all, is meant to continue and increase the division between foreign born and "native" workers. That is how the ruling class, which is a miniscule percentage of the total, maintains their control over the overwhelming majority of the population. Divide and rule which has been going on since the creation of private property in human relations.
Meanwhile the Catholic Church, which has been accepting and encouraging the disparity of wealth since their beginnings, acts as a leader of many of the immigrants forcing them into a begging and passive stance.
Full Immigrant Rights to All Immigrants. Organize the unorganized. Break for All Capitalist Parties. Build a Fighting Workers Party. Struggle for A Workers Government.
