DRONE UNTO OTHERS as you would have them DRONE UNTO YOU

by Cris Ericson
Drone unto others as you would have them Drone unto you,
is not so different an idea than,
"do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Could we please have this conversation about
un-manned computer controlled drone strikes
killing innocent children?

DRONE UNTO OTHERS
AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM
DRONE UNTO YOU.

There are four anti-drone strike petitions on the
White House website this month,
and even if you add all of the people together
who signed the petitions,
there still are not enough petition signatures
to qualify for an official White House response.

Petitions against Un-Manned Computer Controlled
Drone Strikes
have emerged on the White House website,
in the "We the People" section.

JANUARY 12 PETITION (1)

We the people
petition the Obama administration to:

Stop Killing Children. No matter the excuse. Do not bomb innocent people, do not drone
attack Arab children.
Please pledge to stop issuing drone strikes, that inevitably kill children and innocent
men and women. An open heart is the way to peace, not with superior firepower. The right
to human life of these people should not be infringed, and the amount of innocent
children dying for our perceived increase of security is nowhere near justified, and in
many senses counterproductive. Killing a child in every Arab family is no way to make
people want to attack us less.

Total signatures on this petition 3,251

JANUARY 12 PETITION (2)

We the people
petition the Obama administration to:

End the drone strikes against children in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The most important goal of our military defense strategy is to protect
our country

Unfortunately, drone strikes in Pakistan's tribal areas have
killed hundreds of children and have put American lives at risk.

Michael Boyle, Obama's former counter-terrorism security adviser,
asserts that the strikes are counter-productive
and have lead to anti-American sentiment in an already hostile region.

President Obama cannot in good faith lament the merciless
killing of children at US schools while authorizing drone strikes
against innocent children in Pakistan.

A human life, especially that of a child, is sacred in every part of the world.

On January 20, 2013 this petition had 1,281 Signatures

JANUARY 15 PETITION (3)

We the people
petition the Obama administration to:

Ban Assault Drones

Assault drones have killed many women and children.
Lets have a national discussion about this violent weapon.

Created: Jan 15, 2013
Issues: Defense, Firearms, Foreign Policy

Total signatures on this petition 1,531

January 1, 2013 PETITION (4)- needs 150 signatures
to be "publicly searchable" and only has 108 right now.

We the People
petition the Obama administration to:

End the DRONES...Stop the killing of children and innocent civilians.

The USA has Drone bases in many areas in and out of the US.

There is probably a Drone base near you.

One is located in New York, near Syracuse.

The Hancock Drone Base must be shut down.

Children are being killed in Afghanistan and Yemen
from bases close to us.

This is a war crime and a crime against humanity.

All Drone Bases must be shut down immediately.

The world will be a better place when we love the children in Afghanistan,
and all children, as much as we love our own.
