Bruce A. Dixon, Managing Editor of
the Black Agenda Report
Bruce Dixon spoke to KPFA after Susan Rice, the African American hawk that Obama had favored to become his next Secretary of State, withdrew her name from consideration and Obama announced that he would nominate John Kerry, the equally hawkish Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Obama's second inauguration is now slated for January 21st, Martin Luther King Day, because the usual inauguration day, January 20th, falls on Sunday.
