The economy should be a part of life, not a steamroller crushing self-determination and creativity. The time is right for alternative economics, access instead of excess, enough instead of more and qualitative growth instead of quantitative growth. Unlike a chair, an idea can be shared by a whole people. Mass unemployment, environment destruction and trade imbalance can only be solved by breaking out of the system of quantitative growth, endless growth in a finite world.
