Santa Cruz County Task Force on Justice and Public Safety Presents: Community Education Night: Film screening of, "Childhood Interrupted"
"Childhood Interrupted" features interviews with current and formerly incarcerated youth, through activists, parents, researchers and public officials who share their experiences and views, providing the most powerful arguments to date on why youth should not be tried, sentenced or incarcerated in the adult criminal justice system. it raises community awareness about the negative impact of trying, sentencing and incarcerating children under the age of 18 in the adult criminal justice system.
