Pets, kids, dignitaries, and animal lovers will join for the nineteenth Annual Pet Pride Day - Sunday, October 28, from 11 am to 3 pm, at Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park. This fun and free event showcases the hard-working City animal shelter, San Francisco Animal Care & Control. Pet Pride Day - hosted by Doug McConnell of ‘Bay Area Backroads’ fame - features the famous Halloween pet costume contest, pet trick competitions, animal demos, activities for kids, goody bags, adoptable pets, animal rescue groups, pet product vendors and raffle prizes. October 28th will be a great day for San Francisco’s animals!
