This free public performance is part of the Rotunda Dance Series, a partnership between Dancers’ Group and World Arts West with San Francisco’s Grants for the Arts and San Francisco City Hall. This month’s featured group, Los Lupeños de San José, presents dances from the Veracruz, Michoacan and Jalisco regions of Mexico. Eight dancers, with co-director Susan Cashion as the narrator, will take the audience on a lively journey from the Gulf coast of Mexico, through the lake area of Patscuaro, and onto the high plateau that surrounds Guadalajara. Join us for this informative and compelling lunchtime dance performance amidst the grandeur of San Francisco City Hall—Friday, November 2, 2012 at noon.
