Often a symbol of birth, potentiality, and life, the world seems to lie within a seed itself, but as industrial agriculture enters its next phase with the advent of genetically modified organisms, the potentiality of life itself is being controlled and patented by corporations. 'Bitter Seeds' follows the lives of two Indian families in the village of Telung Takli, in the state of Maharashtra. Come join us for an insightful and poignant look into globalization, the transgenic world, and the perseverance of the common people.
