League of Women Voters Treats Some Women Candidates Like 2nd Class Citizens!
Does the League of Women Voters Discriminate Against All Women Candidates Who Are Not Members of Major Political Parties?
Does the League of Women Voters discriminate against
all women candidates who are not members of
major political parties?
Cris Ericson, http://usmjp.com
United States Marijuana Party in Vermont,
is a 60 year old woman political candidate who has
been on the official election ballot in Vermont 2002 for Governor,
2004 for Governor and for U.S. Senator (it is legal in Vermont
to be on the ballot for one State and one Federal office), in 2006
for Governor and for U.S. Senator, in 2008 for Governor and
for U.S. Congress/House, in 2010 for Governor and U.S. Senator,
and now in 2012 for Governor and for U.S. Senator running
for the 2nd time against incumbent U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders.
Not once in these past ten years has the
League of Women Voters
ever invited Ms. Cris Ericson
to a live candidate debate or
live candidate forum.
Therefore, she will not respond to their two e-mails, below.
Also, VPR, Vermont Public Radio, has never invited Cris Ericson
to a live General Election candidate debate including all candidates,
or live candidate forum including all candidates.
They also send invitations to "participate" in a way that treats her
like a 2nd class citizen.
VPR, Vermont Public Radio and League of Women Voters
have abused political candidate Cris Ericson in 2002, 2004,
2006, 2008, 2010 and now in 2012; and therefore she will
not accept their crumbs, their little tokens of second class
"participation".
Legal Notice from political candidate Cris Ericson to
Vermont Public Radio and League of Women Voters:
"Take me off your mailing list, I am not a second class
citizen and I will not be treated like a second class
political candidate by you all!"

Invitation to Participate
Dear Cris Ericson,
The League of Women Voters of Vermont would
like to invite you to participate
in our 2011 election voter guide.
This year we are creating an online voter guide
where voters can compare your positions with
those of your fellow candidates.
We are using a new Web-based system to pose
questions to you and other candidates and collect
your responses. You can post your replies yourself,
in your own words so that voters can gain a clearer
impression of who you are and of the platform
on which you stand.
We would like your answers to the following questions:
What means would you support to fund health
care in Vermont?
As Governor, what steps would you take to secure
Vermont’s energy future?
The effects of tropical storm Irene continue to have
an impact on Vermont's budget. What broad-based taxes
would you support to cover the resulting increase in expenditures?
It is easy to participate and to speed the process we ask
that you respond via our Web-based form rather than by
email, fax or mail. Post your responses by visiting:
http://lwv.thevoterguide.org/v/lwvvt12/c/login!submit.do?code=
If you do not have Internet access, you can send your answers by mail to:
LWVVT
c/o Catherine Rader
1186 Towne Hill Road
East Montpelier, VT 05651
We will post responses until November 2, but the earlier you respond,
the greater number of people will see it. We look forward to your
participation!
If you have any questions, please contact me at 802-229-4737
Warm regards,
Catherine Rader
