King Kong comes to town!
This is our second in a series of "comedy and a realtor" programs featuring working realtors who have insights into combating the foreclosure fiasco.
This month, realtor Jake Person identifies the two types of real estate debt--debt for improvements and debt for land value. Following a three minute financial investment firm's trailer film about land speculation, the Occupy Bernal Comedy Squad presents a skit translating the story of King Kong as a tale of debt and foreclosure dread grafted onto the perennial puzzle of individualism vs. community-mindedness.
Jake Person takes most of the meeting time to parse the two sorts of real estate debt for Occupy Bernal, which is generating a long range strategy for banking reform.
