Oakland, CA Protest Over Massacre of Marakana Lonmin Miners In South Africa

Workers and left organization rallied in Oakland On August 24, 2012 to protest the massacre of the South African Marakana Lonmin miners. The ANC government which includes the trade union federation COSATU and the South African Communist Party have backed the police attack.

protest the murder of South Africa Miners. Speakers protested
the massacre by the government and the National Union Of
Miners which was charged with supporting the use of police to kill the miners.
