by Anti-Fascist
Julian Assange, the heroic journalist best known for his Wikileaks, has been granted political asylum by Ecuador in its London embassy. Meanwhile Nazi USA's puppet, British imperialism, is threatening to invade the Ecuadorian embassy to kidnap Assange so that he can eventually be turned over to Nazi USA for torture and possible death as this backward country still has the death penalty, unlike most of the world.

Julian Assange committed NO CRIME. He exposed the backroom deals Nazi USA engages in to perpetrate its heinous crimes to maximize profits of the capitalist class, the primary goal of capitalism.

This writer knows of Ecuador in an equally heroic context as it granted refugee status to 6,000 German Jews in 1939, including this writer's grandparents, when most of the world, including the US, refused to admit the fleeing Jews who faced certain death in Nazi Germany.

This is the news story of the day and any news channel that is not carrying it live is not giving us the news.

Assange now "prisoner" in the Ecuadorian embassy.

Shame on us.

The political persecution of Julian Assange is not worthy of a free society.

Perhaps Ms Clinton needs a reminder of how the US embassy in China kept Chen Guangcheng safe until he could reach freedom.

Perhaps Mr. Obama the constitutional scholar needs a reminder of the constitutional right to free speech and freedom of the press.

Tell officials we're watching, and that we support Assange and Ecuador.
