Be the Street
Be the Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping the Bay Area clean and safe is developing an opportunity for the youth to have their voices heard and make an impact by participating in an anti-litter campaign.
When you were young, did you want to be a part of something special? A part of a movement that changed the world you lived in? Be the Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping the Bay Area clean and safe is developing just that: an opportunity for the youth to have their voices heard and make an impact by participating in an anti-litter campaign.
Be the Street has partnered with 14 schools, 2 summer media camps and Bay Area youth to change the way Northern California looks by launching a region wide anti-litter campaign.
Currently, we are hosting a Video Contest and are challenging teenagers and young adults to create a 15-30 second video that focuses on an anti-litter message that will motivate their peers and community to keep the Bay Area clean!
What’s In It For Them? Anyone who submits a video before August 15th will be entered in a raffle to win a $350 Apple Gift card. An awards ceremony will be held in mid-November to announce the video contest winners and award them prizes. The lucky grand prize winner will receive $1,000 in addition to having their video aired on television!
