The Peoples Movement Assembly on Community Safety and Policing is a day long event focused on the increasingly militarization of domestic police and the impact of police practices on vulnerable communities. Participants will spend the second part of the day in working groups developing community-based alternatives to police for promoting neighborhood safety and effective problem-solving.
