Date:
Tuesday, July 31, 2012
Time:
7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
Location Details:
Old City Hall on Martin Luther King Jr. Way

The Homeless Bill of Rights is on the agenda, #12 on Consent.
Also, the Berkeley City Council will consider a resolution to formally appeal the proposed sale of our Main Post Office. Come by 7pm and make public comment. It will be #13 on Consent.
A giant real estate company contracted by the U.S. Postal Service to sell America's post offices is doing so without user input and with no consideration for their aesthetic/historic merit or community functions.

Berkeley's P.O. was built in 1914 by the WPA and hosts two New Deal art works.
It belongs to all of us!
