Fracking is happening in California. State regulators don't know where or how much, and incredibly, there are no regulations to protect our state from fracking. Until fracking can be proven safe, Governor Brown and the Department of Conservation must ban fracking in California.
We are descending on Sacramento to demand that hydraulic fracking be put on hold in California. Come out and hear why our state government should step up and protect our water, air, communities and health, with speeches from environmental leaders at Clean Water Action, Food and Water Watch, Sierra Club, Environment California, Center for Biological Diversity, Earthworks, and more.
After the rally, head over to the Division of Oil Gas and Geothermal Resources workshop on fracking to voice your concern directly to state regulators.
Rally: 5:30pm In front of California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal EPA) Building 1001 I St., Sacramento
