The USS Liberty was an American spy ship off the coast of Israel during the 6-day war on June 8, 1967 which could easily see the truth of what Israel was doing and that is why Israel, the American military base in the Middle East, attacked that ship. 34 people were killed, 173 injured and the ship for which we Americans paid was severely damaged and was sold for scrap metal.
