SEIU 2012 Convention Circus-Real Issues Covered Up By "Henry Team"

A forum was held in San Francisco to report on the 2012 SEIU international convention in Denver, Colorado. Delegates reported that the new Mary Kay Henry "team" manipulated the convention and wasted more than $13 million in avoiding the real issues facing the SEIU and public workers in the United States. The main push was for partnerships with the bosses and billionaires and pushing Obama and other Democratic and even Republican politicians.

SEIU 2012 Convention Circus-Real Issues Covered Up By "Henry Team"
A forum in San Francisco was held on June 29 to report on the 2012
convention of the SEIU which was held in Denver. The SEIU spent
over $13 million on their convention and according to critics any
serious debate was suppressed with the bureaucratic control by
President Mary Kay Henry and her supporters who called themselves the
"Henry Team".
The forum was sponsored by the SEIU-UHW Members Power,
United Public Workers For Action http://www.upwa.info and
SMART http://www.reformseiu.com/.
Presenters included Brad Wiedmaier of SEIU-UHW, Ed Perez of
SEIU 1000 and Arturo Diaz of Los Angeles SEIU 721.

Former corrupt president and now drug company board member Andy Stern was welcomed by Mary Kay Henry at the convention. As part of the 1% Stern gets a $250,000 year pension the rest of his life paid for by the poorly paid members of the SEIU
