So, You Don't Think 9-11 Was an Inside Job?

by Lindy Greene (lindygreene [at] roadrunner.com)
When you "connect the dots," there seems to be no conclusion other than that 9-11 was a false flag op.
Some Americans don't want to think about 9-11's being a false flag operation or "inside job" - in other words, an attack orchestrated and executed by our own government. Let's start off connecting some dots: The initiation of perennial warfare and the implementation of a police state. The 9-11 Commission that was so cursory and closed so quickly. The eyewitnesses who have turned up dead. The metabolites of super-thermite in the rubble at ground zero. The collapse of the buildings at near free-fall speed into their own footprints (characteristic of controlled demolition). The failure to deal with planes on a collision course with the World Trade Center, but the ability to "thwart" an "underwear bomber" on an individual flight. People supposedly so sophisticated and savvy that they can bring down the Twin Towers but whose subsequent incendiary devices have been crude and ineffective. People who can allegedly successfully hijack our airways and demolish the New York skyline but who can't escape detection with a lone bomber. People who theoretically hate us enough to orchestrate and execute 9-11 but who haven't carried off a similar coup in the intervening years despite our mass killings of their innocent non-combatants...

If it was just a "failure of our intelligence community," the 9-11 Commission would have done a much more thorough job of investigating the event. It wouldn't have left any stone unturned to uncover its origins and ferret out its perpetrators. To my mind, its superficial report and hasty closure were a classic cover-up. Also, all the blatant lies are another indication of culpability. Jet fuel doesn't bring down and pulverize a steel and concrete building - that requires high-energy explosives like nanothermite. And previously healthy witnesses present at the scene and slated to testify before the Commission met sudden, unexpected deaths. They were killed to prevent them from speaking about the sights and sounds of controlled demolition.

The claim that our intelligence failed was an excuse to hide their guilt. When people say they can't imagine how our government carried off such a feat, I respond with how much more preposterous it is to accept that a group of foreigners could gain access to our airspace and head planes into the World Trade Center without our government's awareness. This government wanted to initiate perennial warfare in order to make money from defense contracts, steal other nations' resources, and turn our own country into an Orwellian police state. How would it acquire the support of its citizens for such heinous intentions? By creating 9-11 and killing 3,000 innocent people. The next day, the citizens had American flags waving from their cars and billowing across their porches. They were clamoring for war and willing to give up their liberties for "security." Bingo! They played right into the government's hands.

I cannot come to any conclusion other than that 9-11 was an inside job. But, no one can prove it. (The 9-11 Commission made sure of that.) So, its architects are walking free to feel the sun on their backs and the wind in their hair, while our gullible, hoodwinked military ships out on its overseas murder missions looking for the "terrorists who hate us for our freedoms" - the same freedoms of which we've been summarily robbed by our own government. As far as "conspiracy," I think that everything this government says and does is conspiratorial. It conspires to lie, deceive, and harm its own and the world's citizens for pure financial gain.

In my opinion, the United States government no longer exists. That's why I say, "If not for the false flag, we'd have no flag at all." The government's never been the champion of democracy or defender of human rights it portrays itself to be. But today it is a blatant criminal and terrorist enterprise working for the wealthy psychopaths we refer to as the "1%." All three branches are in on the agenda, and there is thus no accountability to any individual, group, or department.

And the sad part, to my mind, is that 9-11 never needed to happen. The American citizens have proven that they will endlessly drink the Kool-Aid and allow the most egregious abuses against themselves and others with nary a whimper of protest. Those 3,000 people died in vain.

I respect the right to believe that 9-11 was not an inside job, while I remain surprised by such belief. That gives a despotic, conniving, murderous government way too much credit and permits it to go unpunished for not only that horrific deed, but also for all its subsequent evildoing based on the pretense that it was the innocent victim of a horrendous attack by Muslims whose oil we just happen to covet. We won't legitimately purchase or trade for that oil but will instead spend untold sums on the weaponry and machinery of international conflict. Of course. Defense contracts feed more millions, billions, and trillions into the coffers of the psychotics who are already so obscenely rich they could never want or lack for anything their entire lives.

This government does not represent the people. It considers us its archenemies. That's de rigueur for any police state. We are losing our jobs, homes, schools, hospitals, and investments. We are being beaten and killed by the police. Our food, water, and air are contaminated. We're now able to be incarcerated for life with no evidence, charges, or trial. There will soon be drones flying over our municipal airspace to spy on us. We're sexually assaulted at our airports. The government has claimed the right to kill any American citizen without due process. We haven't officially legalized torture on domestic soil, but the cops are already clubbing, electroshocking, and spraying us with mace. That's a pretty good start.

It's all a subterfuge of the most dizzying proportions, and I comprehend the inability or unwillingness to see 9-11 as an inside job. It's an emotionally traumatic concept to confront. But facing it may have to be the first step in hauling this criminally insane government on the carpet and restoring to it some semblance of sanity and decency.
