Save KPFA: Is Something Wrong With Libby Sayer?

by Unionbug
Libby Sayer seems a bit confused.
She shouts loudly that the reason Jackson-Lewis did not participate in the contract negotiations with CWA Local 9415 had not yet expired.

She's completely nuts.

Jackson-Lewis was in Pacifica's employ when the last CWA contract was negotiated in the spring of 2010.

Jackson-Lewis played no role in the contract negotiations whatsoever.

Doesn't logic and what actually happened matter at all?

Why are CWA and the “left” trying to take down KPFA?

It's Democratic Party politics. Some KPFA programmers have been excessively critical of the Democrats. Actually the Democrats would no doubt wish to have KPFA as a station that promotes their message. However, if that isn't possible, the next best thing (from their point of view) would be to take it down, bankrupt it, do whatever it takes to get it off the air.

So no, Libby Sayer is NOT confused, she's doing the Democrats a favor, one that could be worth a lot.

You may not like the Democrats, but you should try to understand their point of view.
