On April 6, community members gathered at the Resource Center for Nonviolence for the opening reception of "Occupy Art", an exhibition of art from Occupy Santa Cruz. In addition to art, photography, and protest relics from the movement, spoken word performances were held. Later in the evening, Brent Adams previewed the documentary film he has been editing from hundreds of hours of footage he shot charting the rise of Occupy Santa Cruz, which featured footage of the OSC camp, the Occudome, brushes with the authorities, and explorations of distortions in the corporate media's coverage of a variety of events. ![]() occupy-art-exhibition-san... The exhibition is ongoing through the month of April at the Resource Center for Nonviolence, which is located at 612 Ocean Street in Santa Cruz.
