Paid staff is pulling a coup tomorrow at KPFA, kicking unpaid staff and community radio programmers off the air!
Morning Mix, JR, and many others will lose there shows so the paid Democrat mouthpieces can control the station.
It's time to OCCUPY KPFA and take it Back!
As once a community asset KKKPFA has been controlled for quite some time. When me and my ex girl friend Tree-sat KKKPFA because KKKPFA would not cover local issues like the Oak Grove Tree-sit and the demolition of Bevatron (4700 Nuclear waste down University Ave.) which triggered 75 staff to give a no confidence vote against the Adminstration. I have been barred from a public radio station which nobody will explain why? the program I helped get off the ground Bay Native (Broken) Circle will not cover Indigenous issues like the 648 day Tree-sit on an Ohlone Burial site or will cover the two elections of possible the first indigenous Mayor of a large city like Berkeley which the radio station resides in this city. This latest news of this getting rid of local news and activists does not surprise me and hopefully will galvanize a movement to bring this valuable tool back to the community and not just to the ones who want to hear their voice and only their voice.
