California Ag Day ~ March 20, 2012

by Michael Harris (blackagriculture [at] yahoo.com)
Black Agriculture is a global construct to restore Agriculture as the foundation of Black Culture. On the first day of Spring, we celebrate the journey embracing Good Jobs, Green Jobs ~ The Original Green Job, expanding healthy solutions through access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Al Washington, Executive Director of the Africa USA International Chamber of Commerce shares the good news of expanding California African Trade and Commerce. Everyone is invited to celebrate the "Diversity of California Agriculture."

Black Agriculture producers once nearly 15% of the U.S. Agriculture industry, today nearly 1% are poised for explosive growth and development globally. Systemic racial discrimination from last century is finally being addressed to bring closure for Pigford claimants. The Executive, Legislative and Judicial process is here to move beyond Pigford. California Agriculture is leading the way for a new paradigm to spearhead 100,000 new agriculture jobs and career advancement specific to Natural Urban Agriculture.

California Ag Day 2012 will mark the baseline data to quantify a national collaborative effort of our National Black Agriculture Action Agenda. Everyone is invited to join our journey, celebrating the "Diversity of California Agriculture."
