National Labor Relations Board on KPFA

by CWA-9415 Wrong
The National Labor Relations Board Denies 5th Consecutive KPFA Complaint from CWA Local 9415
32_ca_25450.doc.pdf_600_.jpg
See attached letters.

The November 2010 layoffs at KPFA were not "illegal" or "retaliatory".

There is no gag rule in effect at KPFA.

5 claims.Every last one of them denied or dismissed by the National Labor Relations Board.

KPFA's union, CWA local 9415 which primarily represents ATT call center workers, has a history of filing excessive grievances at KPFA, wasting money that was donated for radio not litigation, and making false claims that don't stand up to scrutiny.

Corrupt union locals don't help the labor movement, they hurt it.

Given a choice, would you give ATT a pass and relentlessly harass Pacifica?

Where was local 9415 when ATT tried to buy T-Mobile, a merger that conservatively would have cost thousands of jobs?

Cheerleading the ATT corporate bosses. That's where they were.

The new not the original so-called "save" KPFA, a group of anonymous posters promoted by (and obviously consisting of) Aileen Alfandary, Brian Edwards-Tiekert, Mal Burnstein, Laura Prives (who tried to block guests such as eminently-respected labor activists (the local) Clarence Thomas and Jack Heyman from appearances on KPFA), -- this group includes a number of high-profile local attorneys. I guess the NLRB doesn't issue SLAP-suit sanctions for wasting so many people's time and money. Wonder what legitimate labor disputes were held up so this fake one (and all the others they've unsuccessfully filed against Pacifica) could clog up the system?
