The City of Los Angeles has been selected for the Black Agriculture Summit, October 20 – 22, 2012, building on the theme: Cultivating California African African Trade and Commerce, stay tuned to http://www.blackagriculture.com for updates and registration dates.

The California State Legislature has recognized October as California’s Pan African Business and Trade Month. Although it is harvest time for many crops, essential collaborative partnership come together mid-October in Los Angeles, California.

The Central Valley of California, “known as the greatest Garden in the World” host the World Agricuture Expo during Black History Month each year and it is time to showcase mutually beneficial economic development.

March 2012, the Los Angeles, Green Jobs, Good Jobs Conference will feature Black Agriculture building a case for inclusion with local food systems and conventional commercial production Agriculture, at home and in the African Union.

USDA Outlook 2012 will highlight expanding President Barack Obama's export goals and objectives; Black Agriculture is poised for explosive growth and development recognizing “How Big is Africa.”

Cultural identification, technical education and economic development will move the conversation from the academic campus to fertile acres of conventional production agriculture and urban agriculture production.

From the back side of Mt. Shastina to the Salton Sea, Black Agriculture in the #1 Agriculture State in America will build upon hard fought Pigford II battles and spring board that success toward vast hectares of production throughout the African Union.

Agriculture is the foundation of Culture, fundamental to every aspect of how we live as people of African ancestry, globally. 2012 is the 150th Anniversary of the USDA and September marks the announcement of the 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, together we embark on a new Golden Age for Africa, recognizing “How Big is Africa.”

Healthy Solutions and our ancient-future scientific methodology of actual agriculture production will lead to a successful Black Agriculture Summit 2012 and beyond.

February 17, 2012, Ambassador Amina S. Ali, principal representative from the African Union to the United States shared exciting news, numerous commercial interests and magnificent opportunity with direct financial investment and technical expertise throughout the Africa Union to facilitate California African Trade and Commerce.

Direct cultural exchange opportunities for producing Black Agriculturalists throughout the African Diaspora include South America, Caribbean, North America, Asia, Europe and Africa with the focus on production agriculture, is the salient conversation to bring to the Black Agriculture Summit.

In the home of Tiamoyo and Dr. Maulana Karenga we lift of the spirit of Kwanzaa and will come together in Los Angeles, cultivating a global harvest, “giving thanks to our creator for the first fruits of our Black Agriculture harvest.”
