Same Sex Marriage Couples Detained in SF
Same Sex Marriage Couples once again detained after "sitting-in" at the clerk's office in San Francisco's City Hall after being denied marriage licenses.
Even though Prop 8 has been ruled unconstitutional for the 2nd time, same sex marriage couples still cannot get married in California. As a matter of fact at least 8 were detained on Valentine's Day in San Francisco after they sat down in the clerks office after being denied marriage licenses.
Their action briefly disrupted the operations of the clerks office.
