Occupy Oakland march in solidarity with Cairo.
A moderate sized crowd marched around the downtown area, in a peaceful manner, stopped traffic, and gave the current political administration a piece of it's mind. There was a seminar and videos regarding the movement and it's conditions in Egypt, and USA chemical weapons shipments to the Egyptian military.
No where near the size of the population at Tahrir or that of Oakland's port closure, it reacted like most protests in the east bay, and it would seem the bulk of the Bay Area's Cairo solidarity would march in San Francisco the following day.
