1/23 Oakland Protest Against Union Busting By Coast Guard

A labor community protest will be held on 1/23 in Oakland against union busting by the Coast Guard, under the Obama administration the coast guard is being used to bring in a scab ship to the port of Longview.

A protest will be held against the use of the Coast Guard against ILWU Local 21 Longview longshoremen to stop
US military union busting. It will assembly at the Oakland Federal Building at 1301 Clay St. Oakland with a march
at 3:00 p.m. to Coast Guard Island on Embarcadero in Oakland.

ILWU President "Big Bob" McEllrath has been completely silent about the union busting role of the Obama administration and their efforts to support the union buster EGT. Is "Big Bob" afraid to stand up to Obama's union busting?
