Coup d'Twelve - Interview with author Dr. David E. Martin

by Carol Brouillet
Hear Dr. David E. Martin, founder of M-CAM and The Global Innovation Commons discuss his new novel "Coup d'Twelve: The Enterprise that Bought the Presidency" this week on the Community Currency Radio show. This show is a follow-up to last week's show that focused on "Technological Advances Across Time, The Global Innovation Commons." His fast paced novel casts new light on the events of 9/11, exposing a larger criminal plot. While names and details are veiled in the novel, Dr. David E. Martin acknowledges that the story is based upon his actual experiences and that the core premise of the book and the technologies described within it are real.

Listen to Dr. David E. Martin Thursday, December 8, 2011, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the weekly Community Currency radio show on the Progressive Radio Network discuss Coup d'Twelve: The Enterprise that Bought the Presidency. Dr. David E. Martin is the founder of M·CAM Inc., the Global Innovation Commons and was the founder of Mosaic Technologies, Inc.. His impressive bio on his company's websites states that -

"Dr. Martin... is the author of the international legal framework for the Heritable Knowledge Trust and Heritable Innovation Trust programs. He has pioneered global programs to bring corporate and stock market transparency to multi–national extractive industries and has been instrumental in repatriating value to countries which have been subject to corporate and financial abuses. His work on ethical engagement and stewardship of community and commons–based value interests is at the forefront of global financial innovation. Dr. Martin is a Batten Fellow at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. He has been named Chair of Economic Innovation for the UN–affiliated Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Organization and has served as an advisor to numerous Central Banks, global economic forums, the World Bank and International Finance Corporation, and national governments.

"A spokesperson for global financial and intangible asset accountability and quality reform, Dr. Martin has worked closely with the United States Congress and numerous trade and financial regulatory agencies in the United States, Europe, and Asia in advocating and deploying infrastructure to support growing reliance on contract and proprietary rights in business transactions. Under the leadership of Dr. Martin, M·CAM has supported the modernization of banking, intangible asset, tax, and accounting laws through its work with oversight agencies and policy makers."

His novel, Coup d'Twelve: The Enterprise that Bought the Presidency is a fast paced spy thriller that looks at major events of this century, September 11, 2011 and the subsequent financial heists, from the point of view of someone who turned down the opportunity to play a part and profit from the crimes. On the back cover is a provocative description:

"This epic thriller weaves the global political events of the past twelve years into a tapestry so close to believable that it will leave you wondering where the line between fantasy and reality is drawn. The truth is, it is true...

"The plot leaves the rich and powerful wondering who in the hell had the audacity to actually use their hubris as the fulcrum to empty their collective pockets as well as the personal money machine of the Treasury of the United States. "Best of all, and easiest of all is use the media - novelists like Dan Brown; networks like CNN, FOX, al-Jazeera; and BBC; and Hollywood films - to leak just enough of the truth to insure that the actual operation wouldn't require secrecy. If you convince people that what was realy happening was an illusion created by the media, the truth could unfold and no one would believe it. It is a world wide conspiracy hatched in the dark back rooms playing out in the bright light of day."

Dr. David E. Martin's work has taken him to many countries and he has access and understanding of technologies that many people probably could not dream of or imagine. The main character in his novel is obviously himself and I hope that this interview will shed some new light on the mysteries of this past decade that few witnesses have been able to share. I hope that he will also share his ideas on ways to rectify the current global crisis where accountability appears non-existent and criminality has become enshrined.

Here is a link to my review of the novel, entitled Turning Down the Devil.

David E. Martin's insightful blog is Inverted Alchemy: An Integral Economy.
