Contact Hotel Shattuck Plaza and demand an end to their support for Golden Gate Fields horse-race track.

Please spread the word. The Hotel Shattuck Plaza is a sponsor of Golden Gate Fields, the horse racing venue in Berkeley, CA. 176 horses have died at GGF in the past 3 years, with 72 deaths in 2010. Please contact them and let them know that you will not stay at this hotel as long as they support these atrocities. It would be great if people mentioned that they are past customers, or that they are UC-Berkeley students who have convinced their parents to no longer patronize the Hotel Shattuck.

Until now, we were not aware our logo was listed as a sponsor. We are looking into how this occurred and will inform Golden Gate Fields that we have not contributed any sponsorship and do not deserve the listing they provide.
