Interim San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee broke his promise by entering the San Francisco Mayor's race on Monday, August 8th. KPFA produced this news summarizing the ethics allegations against the Run Ed Run campaign the night before.

Interim mayor and mayoral candidate Ed Lee, and former Mayor Willie Brown.

This is a summary of the ethics allegations against Ed Lee, which now include breaking his promise not to run for mayor in San Francisco in 2011, when he accepted the Board of Supervisors' interim appointment in January:

1) exceeding campaign spending limits with the help of a faux activist organization, Progress for All,

2) using employees of the City garbage company to collect signatures for the Ed Lee campaign,

3) using employees of the Chinatown Community Development Center, a social service agency receiving City funds, to staff the Ed Lee campaign,

4) encouraging recipients of City housing and food subsidies delivered by the Chinatown Community Development Center to volunteer for Ed Lee.

Ed Lee is a puppet of Willie Brown and Gavin Newsom, the nephew of Rep. Nancy Pelosi, a pillar of the Democratic Party. This rotten, reactionary party committed election fraud in the 1970s, using CIA agent, Jim Jones and his "People's Temple" to do the dirty work. See
