We Won; If We Let Them Redefine the War They Win

by Sudhama Ranganathan Wed, Jun 29, 2011 4:19AM
When the American people heard about the locating and subsequent killing of Osama Bin Laden on May 1, 2011 a collective sigh of relief was sounded across the nation no doubt. Though not all wanted the end to be death and may have preferred a trial we all knew in our hearts it was now finished. The president said it and we felt it. One thing we didn't get was the second part to that. We heard the man responsible for 9/11 was found and killed, but what that now meant was not to be heard. We were left hanging.
