Oakland, the Patriot Act and Osama bin Laden

Oakland - On Thursday May 19, 2011, the notorious Patriot Act was renewed and extended another four years, by top congressional leaders including John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), as part of the horrific aftermath of 9/11.

It is expected to pass in the full House and the Senate within the next seven days, and Bay Area Senator Dianne Feinstein is expected to support it, with or with out the consent of Oakland's voters.

The feds claim that Osama bin Laden was involved in the catastrophe that occurred at the World Trade Center, and other locations on September 11, 2001, and further claimed that the fascist draconian legislation passed that is called the Patriot Act, would solve our problems.

That was around 10 years ago, and the war machine is still running full steam ahead on a global scale, wasting trillions of dollars on death and destruction, spilling blood all around the planet.

Then they said Osama bin Laden was killed on Monday May 2nd, 2011, and the hype has gone on non stop in the main stream press since the evening President Obama got on the air waves and publicly made the case, that Osama bin Laden was killed by an American death squad.

The White House could not keep it's story straight, and differing versions of what allegedly happened to Osama bin Laden was quickly leaked to the press, including the claim that Osama bin Laden was immediately buried at sea.

During the past three weeks, the main stream Bay Area media covered the Osama bin Laden issue like some crazed mad dog cheer leaders pushing the public over and over again to celebrate the existence of the death squad involved in the so-called killing, of Osama bin Laden.

They call this journalism.

The death squad celebrations are still being promoted by the so-called journalists and newscasters in the local news rooms of Channel 2, Channel 4, Channel 5, Channel 7, Channel 9, and Channel 11, and this madness has been broadcast as the news for the past three weeks.

Perhaps there should be some debate about the draconian Patriot Act thats to be voted on soon. A mature discussion on how it should be allowed to die, and rest in peace after ten years of wreaking havoc on the civil rights of people in America, and around the world.

There is no need to extend the Patriot Act for another four years. The Patriot Act needs to die and rest in peace, now that Osama bin Laden has allegedly been killed.

Mission Accomplished.
