Through this event, we will address questions such as: What emerging trends can be observed between the art museum and the university? Between the art museum and the public? Where are these trends headed? The event will be divided into three discreet panel discussions: "The Art Museum in University Education," "Public Engagement and the Museum" and "Creative Practice and the Museum" and feature panelists: Karen Bennett, Anne Colvin, Joseph del Pesco, Apsara DiQuinzo, Ken Goldberg, Sherry Goodman, Jeannene Przyblyski, Sanjit Sethi, Angelica Stacy, Joel Tan, and David Wilson. Introductory remarks will be given by Lawrence Rinder, BAM/PFA Director. Refreshments provided by ACME Bread, The Cheese Board Collective, and Berkeley Bowl.
