In Global Slump: The Economics and Politics of Crisis and Resistance , David McNally argues that far from ending, the 2007 – 08 crisis has brought us an era of worldwide turmoil, economically and politically. His analysis makes clear basic features of the gendered and racialized crisis of capitalist production, based on exploiting people and nature to increase private profits. Further, he details fight-backs to the crisis around the world.
