Put the gloom and doom of climate change aside for a moment. Instead, imagine living in a resilient community where your bills are smaller, your air is clearer, and your personal and national security are protected. That world is possible, and the Ecology Center invites you to co-create it.

Minimize your greenhouse gas emissions and maximize your sense of community at the Ecology Center's Climate Action Workshop series, Mondays, May 2, 9, and 16, 7-9pm.

At this workshop you will:

* Receive information and ideas for taking action to reduce your ecological footprint, facilitate community building, and drive political action on climate change
* Create a measurable action plan (the scope is entirely up to you!)
* Benefit from the support, wisdom, and experience of fellow participants, and the expertise of the Ecology Center

Participation is free. A $10 fee (at cost) will be charged for the Low Carbon Diet workbook. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Where: Ecology Center (2530 San Pablo Ave, between Dwight and Parker, Berkeley, CA)
Time: 7:00-9:00pm
Dates: Mondays, May 2, 9, 16 (attendance at all is requested; those who attend all three sessions will receive free membership to the Ecology Center for one year if you've not already been a member)

Background on the Ecology Center

The Ecology Center provides the public with reliable information, tools, hands-on training, referrals, strategies, infrastructure, and models for sustainable living. Our programs enable people to adopt practices that are environmentally and socially responsible. We run Berkeley's residential curbside recycling program, the Berkeley Farmers' Markets, Farm Fresh Choice food justice program, Terrain magazine, EcoHouse demonstration home and garden, the Ecology Center Store, and a variety of Information and Climate Change Action programs.

We hope you can join us!
