Dozens of UC workers and trade unionists from Northern California
rallied at the UCSF Parnassus campus on March 4, 2011 to demand
the rejection of UC Regent David Crane who needs to be reappointed
by the CA State legislature.
Professors and workers charged that Crane and other Regents are intent
on privatizing the University and destroying labor bargaining rights. Unions
such as CUE-IBT have not had a contract for years and the Regents
spend millions on anti-labor attorneys. Additional videos at
