State Department designates Greek Sect of Revolutionaries an FTO
Bozeman, MT, Feb. 24 (ECM)--The U.S. Department of State has designated the Greek Sect of Revolutionaries (SE, or Σέχτα των Επαναστατών, Sechta ton Epanastaton) a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) according to a press release received by ECM from the Department today.
The Greek Sect of Revolutionaries is suspected of murdering investigative journalist Sokratis Giolias July 19, 2010 shooting him 15 times in front of his home near Athens.
The SE is also suspect of two attacks on the police and an attack on the television station Alter TV.
