Inspired by the brave revolt of the Tunisian people, Egyptians took the streets today hoping to put an end to poverty, unemployment, state violence and dictatorship. The protests exceeded everybody's expectations; tens of thousands in at least 6 different Governorates took to the streets. The state responded with violence, killing at least 2 protestors in Suez one of them was identified as Mustapha Reda, seriously injuring tens of protestors, and arresting tens of others.

In Downtown Cairo tens of thousands of protestors, occupied the major intersection in downtown, and declared an indefinite occupation listing their demands: - Mubarak to resign, and the cabinet and parliament to be dissolved.

Join us on Wednesday the 26th in a demonstration of solidarity with the Egyptian protests. We are going to meet at Market St & Montgomery St in San Francisco. Bring your friends, your family, your banners and your chants.

And as our comrades in Egypt are chanting "revolution, revolution till victory, revolution in Tunisia, revolution in Egypt."
