Critical reading of Glenn Beck's BROKE.

Come deconstruct American history as presented by Glenn Beck in his 2010 text BROKE. He proposes a flat tax as part of the remedy for the culture of bloated budgets, massive borrowing/indebtedness, and neglect of US Constitutional prescriptions.

The Commons SF hosts this discussion/critical reading of Beck's book. Don't trash mouth Beck without having read him. There's plenty to excoriate, but it should be done in a scholarly spirit. We'll guide discussion, having done due diligence, but bring your thoughts to this roundtable format where everyone is a panelist.

Light supper provided. 7-9 pm for four consecutive Thursday evenings beginning January 27.

189 Ellsworth St. in SF's Bernal Heights.
