Lennar is seeking to DUMP their plans to build anything on Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.
Hunters Point Naval Shipyard is a Superfund Site. Having said that - LENNAR, the Rogue Developer may try to hoodwink the Main Media - but, the fact remains, that no one in their right mind will buy a home, in this economy at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. Now, the U.S. Navy has an obligation to clean up the entire Shipyard. The U.S. Navy is dragging its legs. Lennar is seeking to dump the Shipyard, cut its losses - and deal with reality.
Hunters Point Naval Shipyard comes under the jurisdiction of the United States Navy.
The Shipyard is a Superfund Site - which means that it is so toxic that it was put on a list of the most toxic sites in the United States. The fact is that is the case today.
Now, as much as those that write articles in the Main Media paint the Shipyard to be under the control of the City and County of San Francisco - it is not. The entire Shipyard barring Parcel A comes under the control of the United States Navy.
Mayor Willie L.Brown Jr. - the "thug" Mayor of San Francisco - took upon himself with Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Linda Richardson, Sophie Maxwell - to go to the Under-Secretary of the Navy and pressure him to handover Parcel A.
The others parcels are B, C, D, E, F, G, UC1, UC2 and more are carved out and named as the Navy - does its clean up.
In the year 2000 the constituents of San Francisco pass Proposition P. Proposition P mandated the entire Shipyard be clean to the highest standards. The Navy has not done this and really has no intention of addressing the over 400 radiological elements plus that have to be mitigated.
The Main Media is NOT into investigative reporting. They are into conceptual plans. Conceptual plans are like a dream - you wake up and it could be your worst - nightmare.
The reporters - should read the Final Historical Radiological Assessment Report and the amendments to it. The copy is available in the San Francisco Main Library, the SF Redevelopment Agency, the SF Planning Department, the Mayor's Office of Economic Planning and Workforce.
Depleted Uranium was first tested at Hunters Point. Ships that took part in the Atomic experiments on Bikini Island - were brought to Hunters Point and abated. Toxic radials were buried all over the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard during the War Effort.
Radiated large animals - thousands of them - were buried all over Hunters Point. We have people alive today, that were ordered to carry out the burials and have testified to me and others.
One of the bombs dropped on Japan - an Atomic Bomb left Hunters Point to kill innocent civilians. The Hunters Point Naval Shipyard is connected to BAD KARMA.
One of the most despicable facts that the U.S. Navy and this City and County of San Francisco does NOT want to address - is the desecration of the First People the Ohlone.
At Hunters Point stood two hills. The hills contained the Sacred Remains of the Ohlone. The U.S. Navy demolished the hills - to create the Shipyard. The infill contained the remains of the First People and this is the highest form of desecration.
To date the U.S. Navy acknowledges the existence of the Ohlone, more the Muwekma Ohlone that laid claim to the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard as part of Base Closure - and exercised its Right of First Refusal in 1991.
The City and County of San Francisco is aware of this - but looks the other way.
Recently, when the Environmental Impact Report was written - little if nothing was mentioned about the Muwekma Ohlone. A protest was held at the steps of City Hall. A letter sent to the Planning Department. The Chair of Muwekma Ohlone attended a SF Planning Meeting and spoke about the tribe and its right to the Shipyard.
The Muwekma Ohlone have Patrimonial Jurisdiction to the Shipyard and this City and County of San Francisco must be full aware of it:

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Toxic and Substances Control, the SF Health Department, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District all did nothing to safeguard the health and better interest of our children, elders, and the community at large.
An entire area - 3 miles wide was impacted. This City and County and Mayor Gavin Newsom know all about the atrocities and so does Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, and Barbara Boxer. But, these so called Representatives turned against the people and let the people of the area surrounding the Shipyard and beyond - suffer.
The people attended many meetings at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District BAAQMD) - and the BAAQMD fined Lennar - $150,000 - one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. The largest fine ever imposed on any entity. The BAAQMD is sitting on that fund - the adjudication took place over two years ago. Such are the ploys and machinations of those that Represent - they control the Regulatory Agencies.
Right now Lennar has been sued by some entities. Two of these entities one being Arc Ecology is using the Shipyard to sue Lennar and make money.
Using the Shipyard to create a Lagoon and comparing it to Crissy Field. Arc Ecology should be ashamed of itself. Funded by the SF Redevelop Agency for years - this so called entity interested in the Environment - has come into the community and made money off the community.
The Director Saul Bloom knows how to play the game - he is also known as David Saleman.
Bottom line the United States Navy polluted the entire Shipyard and the U.S. Navy has to clean it. Right now the entire Shipyard barring Parcel A is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Navy.
If you go to the Shipyard today it is overgrown with weeds and is a mess.
On Parcel A - the terms linked to the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) have NOT been adhered to. In other words Lennar that signed the DDA has defaulted - many times over.
It has changed its Corporation name four times - the latest one registered Delaware - as an Limited Liability Partnership (LLP).
Lennar came into the community and used folks like Roy Willis to buy mostly Black folks to divide the community. It has a large pay roll of crooks and corrupt folks - Lennar's well has dried up and will completely dry up - because of this current economy.
Lennar was into sub-prime loans, derivatives, fake loans, fake promises and so on. Lennar promised to build 10,000 homes on Mare Island, adjacent to Vallejo and after 10 years had nothing to show. There are many other places where Lennar promised to do help the people, help home owners and took advantage of them.
If the Southeast Sector was a rich community where mostly the Whites lived - there would be a hue and cry.
If this was in the Pacific Heights area - the Pacific Heights Mafia would be shouting and screaming.
Paradoxically those that sue Lennar are all Jews - and why has this any barring. None of them live in the community - but, they surely know how to make their money. In this case - on the backs of poor people.
The demographics of the Southeast Sector is changing. Now the Asians and Latinos are in the majority.
Blacks that were a majority in years past - they are leaving town.
The City calls the current GENTRIFICATION - Out Migration and has a document about it. In earlier years it had another document that it has NOT bothered to read, less act upon - it was called the Unfinished Agenda.
Michael Cohen has jumped ship and no longer works for the City and County of San Francisco.
Prior to that the person who negotiated and made many of the deals was Marcia Rosen. Prior to that Jesse Blout. All belonging to the ilk of Barnie Madoff.
Right now we have a Black person who is managing the SF Redevelopment Agency but he cannot do much - his hands are tied.
Tiffany Bohee another Black transplant is carrying on the devious ploys and machinations.
Recently we chose an Interim Mayor Ed Lee - who favors Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr. and will have to deal with the mess left by Gavin Newsom and his cohorts. He may favor carrying on the sins of the past. There is BLOOD on the hands of many and many more that will carry on the devious ploys initiated by Lenanr, a Rogue Developer.
Lennar wants to build 10,500 homes at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard and Candlestick Point. I challenge Lennar, the Rogue Developer to the do that. What Lennar really wants to do is exercise Land Banking. Divide the land, dump it, and FLEE.
LENNAR, has been given the go ahead by 8 SF Supervisors when they passed on the Environmental Impact Report to tentatively develop the Shipyard. The eight SF Supervisors led by Sophie Maxwell, with intent favor Lennar and went against the WILL of the COMMONS. Well, all of them have BLOOD on their hands - those that favored Lennar.
Nothing good will come at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. The land has been desecrated and the Ohlone have to be acknowledged. The Ohlone have patrimonial jurisdiction over the land. The land, all of San Francisco was STOLEN by those we call the strangers.
History repeats itself and those that know to suck on the economy - despite all the happenings - still suck on the economy. Witness the mess we all are in linked to Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Bears and Stearn, AIG - and the list goes on.
Historically, that is, if people can read history - there were some that were NOT allowed to own land - and believe me they were not Black.
Now, these same folks do control the media, the financial institutions, and are the scourge of the COMMONS.
