At a public meeting Sunday night, she again tried to put a happy face on the Homeless Crisis, aggravated by the criminalization of poverty in Santa Cruz through such laws as the Sleeping Ban, the Sitting Ban, the Panhandling Ban, the Singing Ban, and the Smoking Ban.
