Support local business and our non-profits by shopping for fabulous gifts from more than 20 local micro-entrepreneur clients of Working Solutions and Renaissance. Shop for jewelry, scarves, and clothing, sample delicious treats available for purchase, browse affordable gift items for the hard-to-shop-for, and enjoy live music, wine and other refreshments, and a photo booth!

Participants to include Tonita’s Kitchen Cuban sauces, PalacioMiguel’s tamales, goods by Black Jet Bakery, Christopher’s Tea, hot designs by Serial Cultura, fair trade fashions by Eco Citizen, artisan textiles by Material Grace, Trish Tunney Photography, Skin Care by Feleciai, Tea, versatile fashion’s by Revelation By Me, sexy hair clips by the Hot Pink Feathers cabaret troupe, jewelry by LivaMira, and much more. And for every LivaMira piece purchased, a care package of your choice will be donated to a malnourished and impoverished child in the Philippines.

The first 50 supporters to make a purchase at the sale will receive a FREE limited edition, screen printed tote bag! This is our way of thanking those who support local small business. According to the San Francisco Retail Diversity Study (May 2007) conducted by Civic Economics, diverting just 10% of purchases from national chain stores to locally owned businesses - would, each year, create 1,300 new jobs and yield nearly $200 million in incremental economic activity.

Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center: Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is a non-profit organization that has been helping people start and grow their small businesses since 1985. Renaissance offers classes, workshops, consultations, office space, and financial resources and has helped over 5,000 businesses in the Bay Area.

Working Solutions: is a nonprofit that supports micro-enterprise development in an effort to strengthen the local economy, create jobs, and build strong communities.
